TEENAGER summer PHOTO COURSE 2015

In 2015 I was approached by parents, if I could teach their teenagers

HOW TO USE A DIGITAL CAMERA and in general basic things about

the USE OF VISUAL LANGUAGE.

We came up with a suitable pace of theory and practice for the girls and hoped to cover as much London sightseeing on the way, SOHO, CAMDEN, KENSINGTON here we come.

DAY 1:

Intro to the D-SLR in general

It does not matter what kind of make or model you have, the basics are the same and can be easily translated.
First task to tackle the camera controls: SHUTTER SPEED

Here we have an image by one of the students using PANNING as a technique to frame the shot and a particular shutter speed to get a handle on the movement.
